ORBITAL
Horizontal disc precoat filter
Horizontal disc diatomite filter for wine, juice, beer and viscous liquids. All stainless steel, on wheels, 2 or 5 m².
Horizontal disc diatomite filter for the food industry: wine, fruit juice, viscous liquids, beer.
The solution mixed with diatomaceous earth is fed continuously into the bell by the dosing pump, constantly renewing the filtering layer on the plates. Once the cake reaches its maximum thickness the filtering discs are easily washed.
The cake is absolutely stable even if feed pressure drops: it stays on the plate and is available at any time when the operation resumes.
Construction
- Filter made entirely of stainless steel and mounted on wheels.
- Horizontal filtering discs in stainless steel wire mesh.
- Dosing vessel with mixer and dosing pump to prepare the precoat and distribute it inside the bell.
- Vertical bell with quick-opening tilting base for inspection and washing of the discs and for periodic cleaning.
- CE electrical panel.
