MCG
Dynamic clarifier (flotation unit)
Flotation of must and juice with air or nitrogen, from 50 to 700 hl/h. Works by pump-over or by transfer from tank to tank.



Before the suspended solids are separated by flotation, the juice is treated with enzymes in doses set by a preliminary test and by the characteristics of the juice. It is then saturated with air or nitrogen in a special saturator.
The treated juice is sent to the flotation tanks, where the gas-solid particles, having a lower specific gravity than the juice, tend to separate and rise to the surface.
The machine has a system to regulate the saturation gas and the process flow rate. It can work either by pump-over or by transfer from tank to tank.
Equipment
- Stainless steel centrifugal feed pump, with impeller adapted for vacuum suction.
- 2 pre-filters with removable basket to keep the machine running continuously.
- Pressure switch for automatic stop if the product runs out.
- Sight glass.
- 2 micrometric valves to regulate and balance flow and pressure.
- Pressure gauge group with PED safety valve and vent valve.
- Sample tap.
- Vertical cylindrical tank in AISI 304 stainless steel, with a special internal must-rolling system for better gas absorption.
- Gas injector and diffuser.
- Peristaltic dosing pump with adjustable flow rate.
- Electrical panel on a stainless steel console.
