Automatic cross-flow filter
Cross-flow filtration from 20 to 160 m² with PLC and touch screen: no operator needed during the cycle.
The PLANET automatic cross-flow filter has an electrical panel with touch screen and PLC to view and set every parameter of the automatic cycles. For this reason no operator is needed during filtration.
The filtering membrane is made of capillaries through which the liquid runs at low pressure with a tangential flow. The liquid passes through the membrane and comes out perfectly filtered and clear, while the solids are retained and continuously removed from the filtering surface by the motion of the liquid itself: the result is filtration at a stable flow rate.
The membranes are made of polypropylene polymer with a symmetrical capillary structure and a nominal pore size of 0.2 micron. The outer housing is stainless steel, connected to the machine with clamp joints and food-grade flanges.
The pumps are inverter-driven, giving long filtration cycles and low power consumption.
